The Gaslamp Policies
Reservations, Deposit Terms & Cancellations
The Gaslamp may offer:
a fully-refundable rate which requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your reservation, cancellation must be in writing at least seven days before arrival, and;
a non-refundable rate that is fully pre-paid and is not refundable for any reason.
Additionally, any reservation for less than two nights will be charged in full at booking, as well as any reservation made less than 21 days before the arrival date.
If you have a refundable rate, cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before arrival, which means until 2 p.m. local time one week before your arrival. To receive a refund of your deposit on a refundable reservation, cancellations must be made in writing via email to The Gaslamp. A fee equal to 10% of the total reservation will be charged for all cancellations. Reservations may be changed without incurring a penalty up to 72 hours before arrival. Final payment will be taken 72 hours before arrival.
If you have purchased a non-refundable rate, canceling your fully prepaid reservation means you will forfeit your money. All reservations may be changed up to 72 hours before arrival with no penalty; higher rates may apply and is subject to availability.
COVID-19 - Our cancellation policy allows guests with concerns about COVID-19 to reschedule their stay for up to 1 year from the date of their stay. So, if you are not feeling well, please feel confident that you can reschedule without losing your payment.
A 100% deposit required for 1 and 2 night stays. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
There is no refund for delayed arrivals, early departures, medical or family emergencies, work conflicts, inclement weather, missed or cancelled flights, ferry reservations etc., or reduced number of guests staying in the room. Guests who fail to show up for their reservation will be charged automatically without further notification for the entire stay.
Refunds will only be given using the same method that was used for payment.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance from any travel agency or online at sites such as www.insuremytrip.com.
All quoted rates do not include the 11.7% MA room tax. Also please note that rates are subject to change without notice. Minimum stays vary from season to season and special holiday rates may also apply.
All room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional people are permitted in a number of rooms and room types. Additional charges per person, per night, will be added.
All guests must be 18 or over. The Gaslamp caters to an adult clientele and offers guests a year-round clothing-optional deck with hot tub.
Please contact us with your approximate arrival time. We are happy to welcome you as soon as your room is ready, and knowing when you expect to arrive helps us coordinate room cleanings and check-ins. Generally rooms are ready by 2pm. If your room is not ready by the time you arrive, we will complete your check-in, then call or text you when it is ready. If you anticipate arriving after 6pm please contact us to make arrangements for a late check-in. Check out is by 11am each morning.
Minimum Stay Requirements
In-season rates and/or minimum stay requirements may apply for certain holidays and special events. These include but are not limited to: Valentine's Weekend, President's Weekend, Memorial Weekend, July 4th Week, Bear Week, Carnival Week, Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day Weekend, Women's Week, Fantasia Fair, Halloween Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend, Holly Folly Weekend, New Year's Eve Holiday.

Note: Parking is FREE in the off-season beginning November 1 - March 31 in all municipal parking lots (including the public lot 1/2 block from The Gaslamp).
During the remainder of the year, we offer 6 off-site parking spots available on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of $20 per night. Parking is located in the lot at 6 Mozart Avenue. (Note: Public lots charge $25/night).
Parking is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for damages to your vehicle, and vehicle owners are liable for any damage done by their vehicle.
There is no smoking allowed in any of our rooms. Any guest violating the non-smoking policy will be billed an additional $500 per night for clean up costs for the room. In keeping with town laws, outdoor smoking is limited to the designated smoking area on the rear deck.
The burning of candles is not permitted.
For the benefit of guests and our neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum between 9pm and 8am.
We take our guest's safety and comfort very seriously, and therefore when a key is lost we take the precaution of re-keying the lock on the room. A $75 lost key charge is required.
Sorry, pets are not allowed. We reserve the right to refuse check-in to guests with pets, or to revoke permission to stay on the premises if guests are found violating this policy. No refunds will be given. We suggest you consider boarding your pet with http://www.provincetownpetresort.com/.
Any additional cleaning beyond normal housekeeping (such as but not limited to wine, make-up, blood, personal lubricant stains) will be billed a minimum charge of $75.00 plus any additional costs as necessary.
The Gaslamp reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. It is your responsibility to secure your valuables at all times. We recommend having a locking suitcase or briefcase for these items.

The Gaslamp Condos
Maximum occupancy for Condo 1 is 2 people.
Maximum occupancy for Condo 2 is 4 people.
We welcome children in the condos.
There is no access to the rear yard for the condos
